How Faith in Christ Heals: When Doctors Don’t Have Answers

We're often left feeling hopeless and scared when medicine doesn't have an answer. But for those who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ, there is another way. It’s a way that goes beyond a doctor's report and a diagnosis. It's a path of supernatural healing faith that comes from trusting in a God who is bigger than any sickness. There is healing through faith in Jesus. You best believe that faith in Christ heals.

The battle is not ours, but the Lord's. When we face a serious diagnosis, the medical team is ready to do all they can. But our soul can be confident that God is ready too. He can orchestrate a process from start to finish. Whether that path leads to healing on Earth or to Heaven, we can trust Him with it all. If there is ever a time to have faith, it is when we are up against the impossible.

I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.”

Having Faith in Miracles

God's power isn't limited by human understanding. He doesn't rely on our small ideas to get the job done. He is the one who gives us knowledge, understanding, and strength. Even when medical professionals don't have answers, God has his eye on us. He is willing to listen to us and can make us perfect through Jesus. That's the best news we could ever hear.

Our confidence in Jesus as a healer should be unshakeable. One woman faced a serious medical situation where she signed a waiver for a critical operation. The waiver listed terrible outcomes like being "paraplegic, quadriplegic, comatose, or dead". Even with these possibilities, she was not afraid of moving on to be with the Lord. She was confident that God would see her through.

Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

Life is full of hard things, and we might not understand why we have to go through them. Some people might even feel bitter or hopeless. We might feel like everything we hoped for is lost. The pain of suffering and heartache can be so strong. But we can still have hope when we remember that the faithful love of the Lord never ends. His mercies start new every morning. We can say to ourselves, "The LORD is my inheritance".

Suffering can actually build our faith and hope. Joy can follow our sorrow because God is the author of hope and joy. He is with us when we need refuge and aid. His peace can comfort our hearts in the middle of any trouble. It is this peace that helps us suffer without being miserable. We can have peace of mind even when our body is not at peace.

For we live by faith, not by sight.

Faith in Christ Heals

Faith isn't just a feeling; it's a belief that leads to action. Our hope in life is built on faith in an Almighty God and on Jesus’ blood and righteousness. We can be convinced that our hope is based on truth. The most important question is whether an Almighty God raised his Son from the dead. The answer to that question affects everything. We are told that faith without works is dead. We show our faith by what we do.

The power of Christ works best in our weaknesses. We can be glad to boast about our weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through us. This means we can find pleasure in our weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, and in difficulties. When we are weak, then we are strong. The personal journey to faith is unique, but the faith we proclaim is not. It is the same faith taught by the apostles and found in the Bible.

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—

God’s love is constant and active in our lives. Sometimes, God allows suffering, but He always has a reason for it. That reason is always for our benefit. The suffering we go through can build our faith and hope. We can look for the benefits of our hardships and see how God is working. He is the author of hope and joy. He is with us, and we can cling to Him for help and safety.

The journey of healing and recovery is a testament to God's incredible grace. He gives us grace upon grace when we take Him at His word and obey Him. He gives us sunshine and rain, but He gives more to His children who call on Him. He will help, whether it's physically, mentally, emotionally, or financially. His way of helping might not be what we expect, but it is always for our good.

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

When we come to Christ, everything can change. The emptiness we feel can be filled with satisfaction and joy. This joy isn't based on physical health or external things. It comes from the deepest part of us that was once empty. When we share our secrets and unburden ourselves, we find this foundational joy. God knew we needed to get these things out in the open.

Once God makes himself known to us, we can't get enough. We start to love reading the Bible and spending time praying and listening. The evidence of God's presence becomes more real. Our character starts to get better. We become more respectful and thoughtful of others. We begin to love people instead of judging them. Our healing can increase weekly as our faith grows.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!

God gets the final word in every situation. While science and medicine are important and can be a way God helps us, they are not almighty. There is so much more to life than the physical world. We can learn things about God by observing the natural world, but the most important things we learn are from His very own words in the Bible.

We can be confident that our Creator loves us. We can find hope and purpose in Him. Our life is a witness to His power and love. We are not alone in our hardships because God is there with us. He helps us overcome huge obstacles and bleak circumstances. He gives us strength and joy, and we can find victory through Him.

Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us,
